This was a wonderful book. Coalwood and the struggle of the boys to do what they are passionate about did resonate with me.

I don't get the high rating this book is enjoying. I am not sure if the version I read is even properly edited. DNF

In memory of all my childhood fears, lost innocence and my childhood worries of growing up to become a misfit in an adult world which was hard to identify with , I move this Gaiman book to the chamber of 'favorites' . Thanks for this book Neil , this one turned out to be reassuring as a warm blanket on a cold day , to know that it was okay to have some of those fears and still carry them forward as they define you.

I do have a feeling that this book will change the way i think about many things in life. And i have already become a fan of Neil Gaiman.

tertuliano maximo Afonso, what a strange name, and his actions arent something we can call indifferent either. It's hard for a reader not to become a fan of the Jose Saramago, since we feel like the book talking directly to us. Maybe i am being naive, but iam astonished at the ease with which words are being played around by the author.

This style of writing is completely new to me. The plot is really simple so far, the presentation is absolutely sublime. Reading each page has been an aesthetic experience.
