I can tell some third act drama is coming but I also kinda don’t care lol. Haven’t felt like picking this up much even tho I likes the beginning.

Now we find out what will happen since the first book did not end up according to their plan. So far it’s alright. A few scenes that felt repeatative. We see Aaron-Klaus from Luka’s perspective but I don’t think we needed Yael’s again… that was in the first book.

Not as into this halfway thru. But it’s fine.

I really like the premise (what if Germany and Japan won world war 2) but the whole race part and YA-ness of the latter half hasn’t been interesting at all.

I like reading about Yael’s history, but the journey on the bikes is less interesting.

Glad to see Mitsuki realizing it’s okay to be herself ☺️ some cute moments. The nosebleed 😂

Trying to get thru some of these books that have been sitting in my room for years lol. The premise in this is super interesting! First few chapters really sucked me in.

This one feels like a tiny bit more of a coherent storyline so far.

Got a Love Hypothesis cameo! I think I like this but Scarlett feels very bland. But there are hints that maybe this is a mask?

Kind of a hilarious-awkward set up. Never read any sports related romance before but gunna try this one!

I like the writing, and I like Oskar and Guinevere. They cute. Everything happens pretty fast tho but it is a short book. Spicy. Getting to the end and I’m wondering about that trunk… better be more to it than they said or I be disappointed.

Almost done: hasn’t improved. At least it was a quick read, sigh.

It’s an easy read at least. I do like Aces the droid lol. But the writing and Obi-wan’s inner monologues are still pretty awful. Plot is meh.

I’ve liked a lot of Kiersten White’s books and so was interested in this Star Wars book written by her but the writing is really juvenile, as pointed out in another review, when this is supposed to be YA. A lot of repeating things that are very clear, and it doesn’t feel like Obiwan at all. This first part was hard to read.

I really wish the chapters were longer. Glad to see Mitsuki making friends with Aya’s friends.

Kanna is so coool. Same disjointed plot style that I don’t love. Makes it confusing sometimes. But still pretty obsessed with the art!

The place slowed down a bit and I felt my interest slipping. Then the end was very different vibe from the rest of the book and kinda whiplash. I really enjoyed Sidney and some of it was cute but kind of a weird mix of a book.

Gwen and Arthur were starting to annoy me a little bit (both acting very bratty) but this last chapter was nice.

A really fun premise! Like it so far.

Some cute and funny moments that made me smile. Still don’t love the disjointed storytelling but story has improved a bit.

Way to make me cry 🥲

Oh no Fern!! Shoulda trusted your gut!

I am totally obsessed with the art and design of this series: the acid green from the cover being inside all the panels as well really makes some scenes pop, I love it. The girls are very cute. I am a little less in love with the plot progression: it’s like tiny stories with really abrupt transitions, less like manga and more like a comic strip?

Still need to find out about Zyll! But happy to see Fern coming to terms with herself, and I think even Asteryx is learning things, even as old as she is.

Had a couple of spicy scenes. Not a ton of development in their relationship but I like them a lot. They’re cute and it’s even a bit funny sometimes.

I like the art but I’m a bit confused on which audience this is for. Also haven’t really been drawn into the plot.

It’s so hard not to just read this all in one sitting haha. The most recent interaction was danger! I love how concerned Astryx is about Bucket 🥺 We need some answers about Zyll! So curious.

So I already love this, but I am totally the target audience. Critical Role and romance! So here for it. Lots of Easter Eggs in the mentions of places in Wildemount, wish they woulda put in one of the maps tho!

This ended up being very different than I was expecting lol. Not sure how I feel about it. Super readable but kind of disappointing in the direction of the plot and the tone.

Another new character, which made me smile lol. Very silly but I like it. And the adventuring has been fun! Fern is definitely a fan. I feel for her and her indecisions.
