Wow all the emotions in this last section 😭😭😭 Koharu and Aki 🥲

The character designs are cool and the premise really interesting! Feel so bad for Koharu…

Definitely like the writing, but that’s standard for Celeste Ng. Dunno how much I’m brought in by the plot. Definitely some stuff that is feeling less and less far fetched, recently :/

Very sweet and I like how we see Lia go through tough stuff and learn from it and grow. I hope there will be more of these! Love all the different outfits the girls have.

Rhysand is pretty terrible in this book. 😣 I don’t remember if he redeems himself lol I’ll have to see in next books. Also the way his name is pronounced in audio is not how I pronounced it and it’s so distracting LOL.

Art is so cute and the story is too.

Almost to the end, thank god… everyone is a caricature and Wade is a Gary Stu and again, not sure why this is rated highly. It’s 15 years old and even tho it’s about the 80’s/set in the future I feel like it hasn’t aged well. The ideas are cool but yeah… I’m not enjoying this execution at all.

This is so awful why does it have such a high rating??? The concept is cool but the execution… Wade is an insufferable, one-dimensional know-it-all.

I really remember nothing of this book lol. But it’s funny how Tamlin doesn’t seem too bad.

This is so boring so far. It’s like listicles of nerd culture in the 80’s. And Wade feels like a 40 year old man, not someone in high school. 🙄 I bought this yeaaaaaars ago and finally reading it… can already tell you I’m not going to keep it.

The plot and world are interesting the battle scenes written well, and yet I cannot connect to any of these characters. There’s a lot of the world mentioned and not explained. It feels unfinished?

The spice is honestly too much lol. But I enjoyed the plots of this, and Koen and Serena.

Takeru suckkkkks. Misaki is pretty cool. The recent events are brutal. I’m still not really drawn in tho.

Oop kidnapping! And some answers? Hype for Koen to show up full of rage, probably lol.

I definitely forgot this first book was a beauty and the beast retelling lol. Right down to the library and roses 😆

I fear I like Koen! Some of the mysteries are curious too, the weird cult person??? Serena’s parents???

Damn, pretty brutal.

I always like Ali Hazelwood’s banter and I think it’s only gotten better as she’s written more. I didn’t looooove Bride so I feel like this one also might not be for me eventually lol. But so far it’s alright.

Still not really attached to any characters… we are in the middle of some action tho!

Ugh now I’m caught up again and have to wait 🥲.

I miss Qifrey. He’s barely in this one! Also… wtf is up with Easthies?? That was unhinged.

GAHH this is such a lovely little fairytale about sisters. 😭 Audio is so so good.

Not sure I’m a fan of the writing style of this… I feel like it needs more editing but I think this was originally self-published… not sure if it was editing more before this edition.
