This is so boring so far. It’s like listicles of nerd culture in the 80’s. And Wade feels like a 40 year old man, not someone in high school. 🙄 I bought this yeaaaaaars ago and finally reading it… can already tell you I’m not going to keep it.

Almost to the end, thank god… everyone is a caricature and Wade is a Gary Stu and again, not sure why this is rated highly. It’s 15 years old and even tho it’s about the 80’s/set in the future I feel like it hasn’t aged well. The ideas are cool but yeah… I’m not enjoying this execution at all.

This is so awful why does it have such a high rating??? The concept is cool but the execution… Wade is an insufferable, one-dimensional know-it-all.
