I’m glad I finally got into this one after renewing it twice lol

Currently being lazy for the holidays and working on crafts/playing video games. New books coming soon. :)

This book is incredibly good but I also made the mistake of starting a new XCOM 2 run, so they’re battling it out for my attention.

Soft ‘reshelved’ for this one—I have two weeks before it needs to be back at the library but I also have other holds coming in, so I’m gonna come back to it before the due date.

This book isn’t bad at all, but I’m not loving it enough to be fully engaged and I’m slogging through it. I might need to pick up a second read to get through this one.

Revisiting a childhood favorite; there are only 4 books and they’re short, why not.

I’ve heard the intro is better as an afterword (plus the philosophical minutiae of different interpretations of nihilism and God and the internet are also too dense for my brain at the moment), so I’m going to read it at the end.

I am realizing that a book about watching things in your head is probably not a good choice for me as a person with aphantasia, but I’m still having a good time.

The Spanglish dialogue and descriptions are, of course, a valid style and are used beautifully in this book, but god it’s slowing me down having to translate multiple passages per chapter.

Taking a massive step back from social media so hopefully I’ll get some good reading in for the next… however long. Forever? Idk man, fuck Meta fr.

My boyfriend recommended this one, and I know he’s a man of good taste so we’ll see.

Increasingly certain that I'm not even close to the intended audience here, but my coworker loaned me this book 3 months ago so I'm finishing it regardless.
