Takes a while to get going, then it seems like everything all at once the last 10% or so. Good lies/cheating/crime thriller though

Some of the connections as book 3 starts are... tenuous but will stick with it as book 2 also took a minute to come into its own

Mid read: can't work out if it's boring, or I am missing something. Reviews seem mixed and I'd tend to agree: it feels like a regurgitation of other work(s) in a sort of essay format someone's done for their psychology class homework. Will grind though it as it was a recommendation but am left wondering if I am dumb or the person who recommended it to me thinks I am... 😶‍🌫️

Good so far, audiobook has some er... questionable attempts at some accents though which can be distracting
