I think someone misspoke about this recommendation. I’m not vegetarian but every fiber of my being wants to. What’s stopping me? Convenience? Culture? Not solo living? I can’t hear or see animals being hurt. This cannot be the book that was meant for me. We’re talking about eating dogs;closing their snouts.Their meat tastes better on adrenaline.Now I want to know what the book they meant … this? Not it.

3.5 ⭐️. Most of the book *was* just okay but there was some good take aways and questions. Worthwhile questions to myself no matter how it’s going to smack me in the face with reality. Those are 4-5 ⭐️ questions. *some*. Worth a space on my shelf? Would I read it again? Not entirely, but would go back and do his homework questions

Millie had him pull his teeth out. Put her punishment back on him but on his genitals. Enzo convinced Nina to save her. Detective was dad of ex. At funeral mom said I’m glad you taught him a lesson. I thought he learned after I pulled out his baby teeth. Lack of Dental hygiene = punishment. Hired Millie to do the job. Now hoping she’ll do it again for the next family

Guessing Enzo (gardener) is brother to Andy’s first wife(?). Nina gaslit into thinking she was crazy- that she imagined being locked in the attic, tried to drown her daughter-nope. Andy. Why she got fat- so she would repulse him.
The book should have ended/never started because Millie should have left. Bored.

Prenup. He didn’t adopt daughter. Why does he stay? Nina (wife) is too insane off the bat. No buildup. Millie not immediately quitting makes zero sense.

Knocked down for the obnoxious repeat of vocabulary “incredulous.” 2-3 times I faded out, got bored. The ending bored. Ended on a cliffhanger but not in an odd way. Story excellent. Story telling mostly excellent. Want to watch.

Incredulous…. On repeat. This book is so good but absolutely ruined by this. So repulsive

Dipped last couple hours. Picked back up. Such a calm magical story, no high fantasy. Hallmark calm.

They’re living in the real world. Losers. Nothing to do. What is the meaning. Penny- loner except for his relationship with professor. Now he lives in real world, creepy, video games, loner, dance clubs. Ran away from brakebills and magic.
Met Lovelady at a dance club. Reminisced over magic.

First half. Not much magic. Little adventures; turned into animals. Quentin and Alice = lovers. Eliot and Quinten= “revenge of the nerds” out in the real world. Living in the real world, drugs, Janet and Elliott live together. Alice and quinten live together. This is book 2 now. Adventures to come?
