Mom’s side promised generations to the cause. Mom was gen 1 to go into the wall and save the divergents from Janine. Was there someone before Janine? Janine and her dad were friends. Would watch her test fear serum on factionless.

I’m not really feeling this book. Had to go back 2 hours and restart.
I do like there are Divergent appearing people, yet still have a mutation. That’s interesting. Maybe why Tobias was able to be in the simulation so long where Tris was willing to get herself killed to see if it would snap him out of it. Yet Tris…. She always could tell so suddenly. Was she ever under that hard?

Four appears to be divergent but actually isn’t. The correct genetic components but not healed genes like Tris. His genetic anomaly allows him to be awake during simulations.

The word incredulous. It’s like the year our tv shows got overtaken with a musical episode or 2. If I could kill a word It’s only been used one but after 2-3 previous books “incredulous” was used 20-50x I’m over it.
