That was a jarring opening. I nearly put the book down. Point of view should not be used like a revolving door; pick one and stick with it.

I actually loved the ending. It was really fitting. Dude was a total psycho though - even for my tastes.

Keep having to pause. Wasn't expecting...certain things and they keep coming up. Wrestling with this. These scenes were understandably not in the movie; it's been a while but I wouldn't have forgotten something like this. Most people have a heart for all or none, not some. That's all I can say without giving anything away.

I probably shouldn't be enjoying it this much.
