"This is your new thing: when a man yells at you the street, you yell back [...] You are tired of taking it, of treating it like a tax you must pay for the privilege of being a woman in public spaces."

Mor being like “I can’t love Az that way cause I’m a lesbian?? Or bisexual homoromantic??” idk it’s a little stupid

I know Maas is struggling with describing the race of characters without saying “She was Asian” but maybe cool it on the uptilted eyes and sun kissed skin it’s tedious and unimaginative

I wonder who’s involved with a bird of fire who keeps something precious in a box… hmmmmmmmm

Wow I wonder which story inspired Miryam and her people parting the sea to escape from slavery let me guess…

Why do people always bring Koschei the Deathless into settings he has no business being in?

Crazy to hear people speak praise of M Carey Thomas

When I say the organization of this book is god awful...

Information continues to be disorganized, with dates and facts repeated in a way that makes them seem contradictory

Respectfully to Ms. Strause the timeline jumping in this book is confusing and grating

1. Nesta Archeron they could never make me hate you 2. Feyre is extra annoying in this 3. How is the whole war fitting in this book?

Genuinely the densest thing I’ve read in years

You know I'm really not sure if I get this book

I love history, I love historical theory, aaaaa.

The pacing in this one is lowkey whack

The Road Not Taken Really is a certified bangers only kind of poem

There are some duds in this anthology

Into My Own; Stars; In Neglect; Revelation; The Tuft of Flowers; Reluctance

The nursery rhymes are so cute!

"[Man's] meridian is at once his darkening and the evening of his day."

Also it does not do any good to take an allegory of Christ out of the judge's story... but at the same time the story does feel like a parable. Smthing smthing religion in this book
