I'm further along than this and still really enjoying the book. Tricky to put down though getting other stuff done as well.

I need to double check the edition I'm reading as I'm sure that there are closer to 400 pages and it's a kinda tough read the second time around. I listened to the book on Audible at first and enjoyed it though I thought I'd read this in line with a pitching challenge that I'm doing.

I'm listening to this book on Audible and really enjoying it. I wanted to read it mainly because I love the programmes that Richard Armitage and Nicola Walker are in.
I have about 2 hours to go at this stage.
It's a mixture of sci fi and thriller with some twists and turns.

Going to rate this 5/5 as it's such an unusual book. Also got me back into the habit of playing Chess and I love it!

I love the front cover of this book and the idea though some of the puzzles are tough and I thought that it woudl be different from the logic puzzle magazines that come out.

There's more imagery that has to be deciphered as well.
I'd love to ask someone about some of puzzles that I couldn't figure out and had to look up the answer and would give it a 3/5 for that.

Really enjoying this book and pleased that the text is big as well. Unusual story and I don't want to give anything away but the premise is that ababy is left in a house where there are three dead bodies in the kitchen and the thriller is about how this came about.

Parts I'm skipping, parts are funny others are very sad. She had a good good sense of humour.

At the moment I think I would rate it a 3 as it's not keeping me gripped and because of the skipping.

Really enjoying this book though the ending seems far fetched. I found it hard to put down without wanting to include any spoilers.
However, there's quite a few characters with little character development.

Really loving this book. Lent to me by my Mum and I'll probably get hold of her other book. I think it's called the Chalet.

A thriller with two stories in one that come together towards the end.

Also written in parts possibly eight.

Working my way slowly through this book because as a HSP I wondered if my son is the same.

Pretty tricky book to work my way through so will look for similar books that are easier to read.

In fact I've had it so long that I don't know if I've now given it away!

Really loving this historical novel. Definitely worth reading if you have any interest in Korea. Part of what fascinates though also scares me is the book's references to North Korea. Even in historical times knowing that if anyone travelled up from the South they wouldn't come back.

I want to rate the book a 5 and rather envious of the author's writing skills.

This book is excellent so far. I admire how beautifully written the book is and what a tough time the Korean people went through in the 40s and either side.
The book spans a few generations though I may re read at some point. Some of the things the families go through really puts things into perspective.

Really enjoying this book. Some of the elements I've read about before in other books though love the layout.

The amazing thing about Chris and Karene is that I was contacted by one of their team over the phone and have been in contact with them since then.
Phone pitching is tough though their team do it so well. Love their mission and what they have to offer.

What a tough situation to be in and also enough to put someone off adoption.

I admire air staff as it is because it's a tough job that I wouldn't want to do but this flight attendant is really put through her paces. I like that the book is in two parts and looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Well written and I'm a fan of Clare Mackintosh anyway.

Listening to the Audible version, which is very good though wondering if it's helpful to have a trigger warning for loads of swearing and a rape, which is pretty distressing.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out as it's pretty far fetched but entertaining.

Leanne is finished with Treasure Yourself: Power Thoughts for My Generation
Did not finish. Was given this book as part of a free giveaway and although it has a gorgeous cover. I'd prefer to read something else.

Miranda is right in the sense that it is for a younger generation perhaps people in their 20s and 30s.
