Why are all those "good" books so f long and philosophical about nothing? I swear if you cut all of those high and moral thoughts, there won't be even 100 pages left.

I'm throwing this book at the wall as soon as I get my hands on it tonight...

Re-reading after my trip to York. It hits differently when you can actually picture all the places they are going. Villiers is still my favourite, though. I' weak for this type of peacock characters🫠

I'm two stories in, and it is absolutely adorable! I miss my cat🫠

Why do I have this feeling that if Lorelei was a man, nothing would change? Like absolutely nothing. Even the heated scene - probably some would find it even hotter? (Sorry, but those dark I-have-a-soft-spot-only-for-you characters just don't work for me. Also, what is with this random "mine" out of nowhere?)

Can we just stop saying that fairy tales are folklore, like pleeeeeeese? They do have their roots in folklore, but it is two different things!
I might have enjoyed this book more so far if it wasn't mixing everything in one pile of nonsense. Folklore student in me cries bloody tears every single time Q.Q

So far, I love it. It is such a cosy, funny book. There are some minor things that I would rather change or insist on, but it is me being a literature degree nerd.
Amazing for the start of the summer read with a seasoning of cute and awkward romance.
I still love Caz, what a great spider plant he is.

It is love from the first page. Caz is my favourite character, who wouldn't love a sentient pessimistic spider plant?😅

Started to listen to an audiobook. Dissociated in the middle of the 1st chapter and came back only in chapter 3. Well, it was a good start, but I need some plot in all these details. What is with this infodump from the first page? T.T
