Just started this for a winter read-along and before the film adaptation comes out and I must say, it’s been a WHILE since I read a classic, so the language is definitely something to get used to. But I forgot how much I love it, the intricate descriptions and thrill of finding new words. So far it’s a book I’ll have to read slowly and carefully but I’m super excited!! Wish me luck!

Wrap it up. Falling in love with only hours to spend at a time, scared of what everyone would think, being around homophobic locker-room culture, hiding for years. It hit me all at once with that line 😭
If only this book were more about that instead of describing each other's slits 💀

Damn I read through forums and I agree she's grumpy but it's really not bothering me much Imaoo! Maybe it's just me but l prefer a moody fmc than a moody mmc hahaha. So far this book is putting me in such festive vibes 🤶🎄❄️

I’ve been in a massive reading slump for years and I think it was because of the non fiction books. They’re interesting asf but god do I have to be in the right mindset to pick it up and actually learn something. And now I decided to put those books down and just get thru smth light and fun, I got thru a fourth in 3 hours… best decision ever
