I'm kind of on the fence about DNFing this book. I'm just bored with it so far.it

I'm at 61% and I'm really not enjoying this book. I'm probably going o end up skimming the rest.

I feel like this is a P2P Sterek fanfiction. I'm not against P2P but I feel like authors should tell readers that upfront.

Emma is a big Mary Sue. This plot is as thin as a piece of paper. I'm really trying to give it a chance, but I'm thinking that this book may end up being a DNF.

Silas' bratty attitude is getting tiresome. His refusal to learn about being a Methuselah (😒) makes his worry for Remy seem disingenuous, since that's what is keeping him (as far as I know at this point) from actually seeing his friend.

It's kind of odd that Silas uses the word pretentious in his thoughts yet he can't pronounce metaphor correctly. Or that he doesn't know what a prerequisite is. Also I'm not sure what I think of the words Methuselah and Mana as they are used here, maybe if the story ends up with some kind of biblical backstory that will make more sense.

I don't like this so far. So much telling rather than showing. Samantha and Liam seem robotic, unlike real people. It feels like you're dropped in the middle of the story than in the beginning.

Sigh, this might be a DNF, but I'm really trying to give books a fair chance in 2019.
