Enjoying the dynamic between Phoebe and Lila.

The beginning was not what I expected and so I wasn’t much engaged with Phoebe. She strikes me as mediocre and not very interesting. Finally things are picking up, Lila is a breath of fresh air by comparison.

Everything is going great so I expect something bad happens next.

Casually mentions shibari, expecting all kinds of weirdness now.

It seems there is only one kingdom with the climate to grow food for all 6?

Can’t wait for this book to end. Very little plot.

These sex scenes are comical.

Hate these flashback scenes cut into the middle of an urgent event. Kills the momentum pulling me out of the storyline.

Enjoyed Sabine’s chapters.

Struggling with the pacing a bit. 10 chapters in and I still don’t know what the plot is.

Please no “hair-covered thighs”

Nothing better then leading up to a love scene than talk of dead parents.

Halfway through and finding it fairly formulaic for these type of stories.

I don’t want to read the words turgid or honeydew ever again.

A whole lot of power yet entirely powerless trope is the worst.

How many times are you going to get yourself captured!

Why have 2 guards if one is constantly being sent to do other things? If she is so important this makes no strategic sense.
