I am enjoying it much more than I thought I would. The language is engaging and elegant. I haven’t enjoyed nonfiction this much in a very long time.

I see the creative aspects of the novel. I am n still not sure if it is for me though. I started it while on a flight and didn’t have a back up option. If I had another book, I probably would have put this one down after a few chapters.

This one lags a little in the middle, but as I am reading the final chapters the pace is picking up again. Glad I didn’t put it down.

Picked this one up a few weeks ago—- a long time since I have read a translation, but the premise of it looks fun. Title reminds me of Paula Deen!

Cliff hanger much?

One of my favorite authors—- different protagonist for her, a teenager. I am intrigued.

Interesting narrative with some big names from the canon of American Lit

Having a very hard time getting into this one—- might have to consider putting it down for a bit and trying something else. I really wanted to like it.
