She is still doing great. I am really enjoying the discovery of the faerie realm.

First impression is that this book has the best cover I have seen in a while, and certainly the best of the Verdon books. It speaks to me like a great piece of art. I won’t judge the book by this cover, but the cover itself is great.

Book is really good. This is a solid idea for time and space travel.

I enjoyed the tv series instinct. So far the book is tracking the tv show closely.

Interesting. Short stories that are mostly teasers for series.

Second and third stories are better written. Though I do come away with the sense that s/he is fulfilling a writing class assignment for stories in different styles. Nonetheless, the second story is an intriguing internet chat room interview.

The third story starts out with a sexist flaw that people who grew up watching Barbara Eden on television shouldn’t have. It generally feels like a concept piece before the actual story is written. But I liked it.

Finished the first story. His writing style makes me think English is not his first language. The word choice is often labored. And for the entree story, the plot was tired.
But it was not painful, so I will continue.

Gut bursting funny satire on every page. Whether it is fast food, corporate culture, of life, Starbuck makes it funny.

I enjoyed Lilith Saintcrow's Bannon and Clare series. But Trailer Park Fae is a slog. The language feels forced rather than flowing. I am still reading, but the characters have not engaged me yet. She implements an interesting twist on human/Sidhe interaction, I've no issue with the premise.

I had low expectations from a translated book. But, both the content and style of this novel are riveting.
