Sitting at 2*. So much explaining I swear the entire book so far has taken place in her bedroom with different people coming and going and talking about stuff that is so unclear… fates = ancients = arae?!?! And they’re deminyen arae… it’s so convoluted and obscure it has totally lost me at this point. Not sure if I’ll finish the book or not!

Theories:
1) He obviously murdered her/did her in
2) he’s an abusive megalomaniac
3) he’s EJ

Her naïveté to his CLEAR personality flaws is disgusting

Here’s an idea; let’s change English words into fae-speak, just to be pretentious 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Nope, can’t do it! So poorly written, like the author had to fit every fancy word they knew into every chapter. The characters are names and nothing more, the story appears to be non-existent.

I’m six chapters in (about an hour), and this book is so full of inconsistencies and plot holes I don’t think I can do it 🫠🙄
