this has gone a totally different direction than expected but I’m quite enjoying it

this book is amazing

Fantastic twist here!

Every Sherlock Holmes story is like. There once was the coolest woman in the entire world with a mysterious backstory. Will her husband accept her? YES, he’s actually a consummate wifeguy! And this is the plot of at least 3 different stories

Soooo creepy so far

Quite good

Marius is a very funny character to me. Not only are you a pedophile but you also have a white man’s burden complex? Pick a struggle

Lestat’s insane transgender mother who he’s doing emotional incest with is my favorite character in this entire series

I love Ahmad so much. He’s so insane

“I I was thinking about that one you can get from wading in stagnant water with the wrong kind of snail, and then five years later your liver falls out."
"That is not a real disease."
"Hand to God. I mean, maybe your liver doesn't fall out, exactly, but it stops working... Also, isn't there that one worm?"
"Guinea worm. They've about wiped that one out."
"They've about wiped that one out on earth."

God but T Kingfisher is FUNNY. I adore Simon.

loving this so far

Could read a several book series about Sphene and Translator Zeiat playing board games together

Just to clarify to my U.S. followers: I do not consider myself in favor of tech oligarchy, having your right-hand-man do the Hitler salute at your inauguration, raising tariffs, ending birthright citizenship, foreign policy interventionism, pardoning those who plotted violent crimes against the U.S. government, and attempting to shut down regulations that keep us safe. Hope that helps.

this is soooooo good and is making me sooo crazy

god I love Ann Leckie

Unbelievably invested in this polycule I fear
