fine historical man on man romantic murder mystery , very entertaining Must admit though
I speed-read through a lot of romantic , repetitive paragraphs. Overall a very good story.

Love his books. Fast and fun, but none of the dumbed-down plot stuff.

Decent predictable Grisham. Female protagonist, almost formulaic but still a comfort in its familiarity.

reading a YA novel about love and grief and loss, in my own actual year of loss, more expected loss i suppose, both my parents passing within 10 months This was a good, satisfying read; all i knew for certain was that i would never see the movie, so why not....
