I’m fascinated by how Sumpter is applying Stephen Wolfram’s hypothesis that all processes could be classified within four categories: stable, periodic, chaotic or complex. So far it’s intriguing, not only because he is applying an algorithmic model derived by a theoretical physicist who intended to use it to improve scientific inquiry, but because he is applying it in a psycho-socio-cognitive context.

I’m still waiting for an actual plot. There’s been one semi-interesting event and since then it’s been all world building and weak character development. I’m trying to hang on but…
