A very enlightening and juicy book with plenty of twists and turns! Many intertwining stories taking place in the Barbizon Hotel for Women in New York City in two different timeframes. In 1952, the focus is on Darby, but Stella, Esme, Sam, and others are important. In 2016, Rose is the focus, with Griff, Jason, and some of the characters from 1952 taking part. At times emotional. A really good book!
