Nah, it's weird. In fact, the whole book club thing gets more cringey and more out of place with every book.

This book has a lot of structure issues......... and other issues too....... I kinda wanna write my review already because I genuinely don't think it gets any better than this (and it's not that good to begin with)

I really need to reread the synopsis of books that have been on my tbr for ages before picking them up on a whim because this is a crime novel. I didn't remember that, and I did not expect violence in this at all lol

Wow, this book really is EIGHT main characters sharing half a braincell, huh? (Were they always this stupid? Am I just remembering the previous books wrong? I knew some of them were dumb as shit, but now it's ALL of them???)

Everyone constantly talks about how good this book is, but no one has even mentioned that this is just Pop Culture References: The Novel (I foresee a 2.5/3 star by the end, unless something really good happens)

I get that I'm definitely not the target audience for this, but it's so heavy-handed. We get it, you're Brazilian (except you're just kinda Brazilian.
