What on Earth? This seriously reads like someone cut a few key chapters out of the book and then glued it back together. This is so unlike Pessl. I'm so disappointed.

God it's so weird to see the word 'canceled' used in the modern way in a book, even though this is set in the 2020s. I am enjoying the book otherwise, but yeah. Surely there are other words?

Honestly, I still don't really understand the time shenanigans, but I like the book so much, I don't care!

The thing with this book is, it's good the first half and then *extremely* good the second half.

I wanted to love this but so far it feels like Tiktok Romantasy (tm) wearing a Catholic Aesthetics cloak. Frances Hardinge did it better, just saying.

So the editing could have been tighter in places and there was some head-hopping I wasn't sure was intentional, but overall it was sooo good, it doesn't really matter. Review to come!
