How am I again, less than 50 pages from finishing. What an incredible series. I love Celaena’s character. What great storytelling.

Not sure how I’m 24 pgs from being finished!! This did not read like 400 phs. I won’t be giving a full review right away. Will read at least #2, maybe #3 first. Knowing there are 8 books, I know it’ll take a sequel to a trilogy for most of my questions and hopes and wants to be answered. But I will say I’m totally team Chaol right now. Not sure there is a team. But yeah. For whatever that’s worth.

Been seeing that with ACOTAR new book slated to come out, this series is better for continuity to read before Crescent City. So I divert and will read these before returning to CC’s book two.

So excited this was a first option this month!! I’ve been anxiously waiting for its release.

I can't finish this. There is too much detail of the practices of the other gods. And I couldn't get around the names, it made it difficult to know who the character is supposed to be. And not knowing who it is, !makes it hard to tell if the story is following The Word. So I'm stopping and won't finish this.

I have been struggling to find books that my son can not only read, but enjoys. He’s in 2nd grade but his reading level is closer to advanced kinder, lower 1st. Then we found Henry. He picked this is immediately. And I’m enjoying it too. It’s entertaining, age appropriate, and easy to follow. I highly recommend this series for boys and moms trying to improve their reading.

I’m surprised I’m this far along. I am just not getting into this. I love Rylee, I was hoping I’d like this chick too. But seriously, 40 is not so old it needs to be mentioned every other paragraph and “Himself”? Seriously? Ugh. I came to update my status and say I’m not gonna finish, starting something else. But now that I realize I’m 41% through this, I guess I oughta finish the damn thing.

Only a few chapters in, but it’s got my interest. Been several books now since that’s happened. So yay.
