Ugh I'm struggling so much!!
Is it supposed to be sexy that he'll resist "soothing" her for as long as he can. Basically he'll resist his rapist urges until he can't control himself anymore. My inability to DNF is annoying me! I'm going to skim this so fast

This is too young romance for me. It's only small so I'll read it but I don't see myself continuing the series after this book.

It's as if the author is in love with her characters so has forgotten to create any mystery or intensity, or feelings at all honestly. It reads as a young teens first book where there is no build.

I also don't think I'm much of an automatic bond mates person anymore, it's a bit ick!

Really enjoying the speed and the content of the book so far. A lot going on, but it's easy to follow and enjoyable.

Finally! One of these Novela that doesn't painstakingly recap experiences we've already read about.

I love Kenji's point of view and loved little insight that we got here. I'm always more invested in his love story than Warner and Juliette.

Through the first chapter I was worried this book would drag. But once hitting chapter 2 I am now inteigued

Why do these books have to take strong women and then make them appear stupid? We have this tough warrior who is now suddenly just completely lost without 2 brain cells to pop together and unable to put up a brave face. Why!? You can have her making mistakes and underestimating things without making her dumb.
