Man this series is addicting lol

Great storytelling as you would expect and the set up is quite intriguing. You can never predict these books, but man it’s always a ride.

I know people can complain about pacing issues, but man these books go so fast that I really don't understand that complaint regarding this series. It's a good beginning as you would expect from this duo.

Man, this series is just so good. The prologue was just amazing, and the first chapter back with the Ka-tet is also amazing.

Well I understand taste differs from person to person, I don’t really get people who loving the tower suddenly disliking this entry? Is there a lot of plot progression, hardly any, but who cares? We all know that going into that story for the most part as this was written after the main series. Nice seeing Roland’s after that pivotal moment in bk4 flashback and his reflection of what transpired.

Durene is like the definition of bland and her chapters outside of Laken just highlights that fact of her poor characterisation. Emperor plotline been a dud in this book but a different witch has appeared so maybe it will be better? Liscor is awesome as usual.
