The author has a writing style that just irks me. The main character drinking a cup of tea, for example, takes almost 140 words to describe. Everything is like this, not just an act of drinking tea, but every detail of everything happening and yet, nothing makes sense because most of it is just irrelevant to the situation. I LOVE explanations, descriptions and lore but this is just not it fam.

I read one review that stated "I felt like this was written in Simlish" and honestly, yes exactly.

Fire kills them, am I right? Why not just kidnap several vampires everyday while the sun is out and they are sleeping in their 'comas', and throw them in the fire? Easier said than done...but that would be interesting. He lives near a big fire that seems to be always burning. And there is atleast 12 hours every day of daylight. Epidemic solved?

the amount of loopholes in this is astonishing. I thought this was supposed to be suspenseful?!
