I won this book the other day. Didn't even remember entering the contest till it showed up in the mail. Thank to Darynda Jones and St.Martins Press. I'm only on the fifth chapter an really liking it so far. It's been a long time since I laughed out loud repeatedly while reading.

Something I love about MacAlister's stand alone books. They're great if you want something that's easy to read and a little bit campy. I know sometimes I don't want a book that I have to think about to much. Just a couple of laughs and a quick read. Hopefully, this follows along with her others.

I'm not sure if I'll be finishing this book. they're are to many people narrating this book and the transition between characters narrating isn't very smooth. Sometimes I'm not sure who's speaking till I'm halfway through a paragraph.

I really have zero hope for this book. The only reason why I even have it to read is someone left it behind. I swore I'd never buy another of her books, but if something doesn't change this will be the last one I even attempt.

So far it's a good read. A little confusing, but I find when you start a new series with a totally different take on the paranormal worlds. They tend to be confusing till you figure out how this authors world works,

Not sure if I'm going to finish this. The main female character is really annoying. Hopefully it gets better.
