Finally getting around to the sci-fi classics has really been paying off - Dune and Foundation were amazing, and Hyperion is superb so far.

I like this time of year on Goodreads, where all of the messages are “X likes Y’s reading challenge”.

Sure, those messages don’t contain a lot of content, but I like to read them as friendly high-fives between people who love books and are happy to have a place to share that.

This book has had a continued influence on my thinking about interactions between people (how teams and organizations are structured) as well as computer systems. Excited to be reading it again 7 years later, and finding out if it still seems as amazing. :)

Enjoying the hell out of this - one of the few audiobooks I’ve read where I have to be careful about laughing out loud in public. :)
