This shouldn’t be labeled as a thriller. More than a quarter way in and the first real dramatic plot element has only just been introduced it’s so slow. Making the setting a siege and hinting at cannibalism does not really make for a thriller. Thrillers are less about content and more about pacing, and this is far from being fast paced or thrilling. Horror, sure, but thriller, no. Not sure I’ll continue.
