About 3/4 thru - the time jumping is maddening. It’s one thing to go from one timeframe (early 1900’s) to another (1940-1970), but this is weird. Chapter starts: 1956, then moves to 1 year before & then to 2 weeks before that). It’s not helping my interest!!

I’m tempted to give up.

Daily devotional - working thru a 2nd year.

This is one of those books I read alongside my morning devotions. 2-3 pages at a time. Most of the book is from sermons that I’ve listened to but a great refresher & reminder to focus on your marriage & honoring both God & your spouses

Started over after laying it down for a few months. Seems like a different book. You have to be in the right frame of mind to take this in!

I’ve read other Amy Tan books - not sure how I missed this one. So far it’s very good!
