I'm struggling with the "loophole" in the treaty. it's stupid. I get it, if it weren't there, there'd be no story, but it's ridiculous.

I think this chick is going to be too naive/annoying for me.

I skipped from 53% to 78%. One sex scene to another.
So, I'm assuming I didn't miss anything important.
I'm borrrrrrred.

I can tell this is probably really great and all, but the writing is a tad bit strange to me and it's hard to get into and follow because I keep having to go back and re-read sentences or paragraphs. It's just not engaging me. 7 chapters in and it's not that I'm bored more than just not invested.

and it's so freaking repetitive.
I find myself skipping line after line, waiting for actual spoken dialogue.

So far, I like Jo's spunk.
Not so sure I like Colton. Not sure if that's how I'm supposed to feel already or not, but first impression is "ugh."

I'm just *not* digging the audiobook.
There's no way that Ever should sound so soft and dainty. And the male voices are cheese. I know I can't impersonate a man's voice either, but I'm also not getting paid for it.

Welp. There goes my interest in this story. Really not in the mood for a cheater story.

I don't know if I can keep going. The prologue was my red flag when I read the same statements over and over and over.

Then chapter 1 happened (see what I did there?) and the same statements are said over and over and over.


All I'm reading so far is arguing where the characters don't have new retorts. Their inner and outer dialogues keep repeating.

I think books like these swallow me whole b/c I am a much older version of Trinity. I just want to be wanted. I want to feel that want to my core.

I'm going to be feigning like an addict when I reach 100%.

This story is what I needed.
Typical Armentrout style, this YA has hooked me. Or, for better comparison, has "clawed" me. :)
