This book is too fucking long.

Why does Ali Hazelwood do this?!?!?!?!?!?! It’s why her heroines are unbearable to read sometimes.

UGH those Ali Hazelwood writing tics I hate rearing their heads.

I usually don’t like it in later books of a series when too many characters from earlier in the books make an appearance. But I love the characters in this series so much that I love getting a glimpse of their lives after they got their own book HEAs.

Strong start — the writing in this is really fucking sharp.

Really weird that we’ve got the hero thinking back to himself being 16 years old pervedly thinking about the then-12 year old heroine’s boobs.

I tried holding off on this book but I am weak. This is one of my most anticipated reads this year because I love Heather Guerre so much 😩

The characters in this book “flinch” A LOT, and it is driving me nuts.

I have basically read 200 pages of this book and nothing has happened.

I’m so thrown when the Brit author has her American born and bred characters say “queuing” and “diet cola.”

Despite this being steamy, the book just FEELS like YA. Which, I’m struggling with.

This book is so much more interesting than any other Ali Hazelwood I’ve read.

This book is very good so far but this cover is an egregious example of racebaiting / whitewashing. The hero is described as having a Filipino mom and a Black dad, and called African American in a few instances, so THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT COVER.

This was so fucking good.

I’ve been REALLY enjoying this book so far. The hero is soooooo prickly.

Ahhhhhh, I am so happy for this couple. WHAT A LOVELY BOOK.
