A bit refreshing with MCs who are regular people. Neither of them is described as anything but ordinary. Not particularly good looking, but acceptable. Choice of word is annoying at times though.

Ok I got it the first time... He is gorgeous, stunningly handsome and has amazing eyes. She is probably a goddess because her body is just perfect with a shapely but and perky breasts. I don't need you to repeat it every time they meet or think about the other. *sigh* I might not be in the mood for easy syrupy read today.

We all get our share of tragedy or insanity or drama, but what we do with that horror is what makes all the difference.

Having a hard time getting into Laney's head. I get that she's not anchored in this reality, living in her own mind, but most of the time she acts plain stupid.
