I love that when there’s a twist I’m like “ok I know a twist is gonna happen but…I don’t know EXACTLY what that twist is gonna be.” And then it happens and it makes me go “oh god damn it” lol

This is a lovely scene. I love the angst. However I do wish our original goal had received a SMIDGE of progress. Plot feels hella slow right here

Actually SO refreshed she’s not like “I don’t want the throne I wannna be a NORMAL girl” but instead like “fuck this guy who thought he could kill me and then fuck over my kingdom I deserve to be queen so I can actually help my people and that guy deserves to die for what he did”

I wish everyone in this book wasnt either the worst, leaning so hard on the miscommunication trope the plot would fold over without it, or just kinda sucky
