Funny reading over four hundred pages and being barely 25% in.

Let me tell you that practicing ballroom dancing for two hours straight is NOTHING, especially when you’re training for a championship.

Pro tip for any author who is willing to listen to – if you decide to include a scene of a rock concert in your book and if, for some reason, you decide to include the lyrics to your fictional songs, please please please make sure they don’t go:

“I don’t wanna go
I don’t wanna go
I don’t wanna go to prom with you”

In situations like this, most people wish for a hole to open up and swallow them into the ground. But I don’t want that. What I want is to be the hole. I don’t know what that sentiment means, but I’m sure I mean it.

Why is this so obsessed with race? It does nothing for the book.
