I really don’t like Madison. I don’t know if Gabe’s going to throw the competition to let Madison win because he wants her to impress her father. it’s just such a whiny little rich girl bullshit. just want to finish this book and get to the next one.

i’m on chapter 7, and all I can think is why did the author decide to change from the next book this book being about Sophie and Theo to this idiot as the main male character? i’m really trying to force myself to finish this book, but I don’t know if that’s gonna happen and honestly I’m done with this series.

dammit, I’m gonna have to try to suffer through it cause I hate wasting money, but yeah, there’s nothing great about a bisexual GenZ guy. I totally don’t believe he would be faithful to the main female character in real life. I gave the first book in the series 5 stars so I’m going to try to keep reading, but it was a while ago and I don’t remember the first book so I don’t know

just starting chapter 2, what the hell he likes pretty girls and cute boys yeah not for me. hopefully this wont be a DNF

I don’t know I think this is probably one of the most annoying characters in a book. I don’t know I’m listening to the audio as well as reading it and maybe it’s just the narrators sing song cute voice for the female character, but I don’t know if I can finish listening or reading it. I’m going to try.

Ugh this is my least favorite Tessa book. I just dislike both the characters. I’m struggling to finish.

Was enjoying this book until Piper said she hates cats. I can’t stand anybody even characters and books that can’t stand cats.

I had trouble getting into the writing style at first because she sounds like she’s writing him first person but it’s third and I don’t like first person books but now that I’m getting used to the writing style this book is absolutely adorable

Since when is 5 foot four tall I’d like to know Remi describes her as tall and thin but when they’re dancing, she says she’s 5 foot four and how tall he is

I’m wondering why this is a standalone and why we’re not getting the siblings stories too.

So if seeing people through a lens he doesn’t see the hourglass why not just wear glasses?

Ugh! I know we are going to find out that his girlfriend is a bitch and deserves to be treated like she is. But seriously the hero has been with her for 2 years. Knows he isn’t going to marry her. That’s ok but seriously even if magic is involved he meets the mermaid 1 day and dumps his girlfriend like a hot potato and moves in with the mermaid.

Oh my God, I’m listening to the audible version of this and aunt Birdie character makes me laugh out loud. I love her.

I’m actually listening to this on audible as I read. I am finding it really cute and some laugh out loud lines.

It annoys me even in books when women are afraid of spiders and want them killed. Just remove them safely outside. Killing anything because you are scared and ignorant is a big turn off in life and in a book - knocks a star off for sure.

I really like the series but I’m realizing as I’m reading I don’t like the serial I feel of it. I think I would have rather had a normal series where each book ended with the love stories kind of tied up. Unless you are reading one after another it’s kind of hard to remember everything that has happened and there is just way too much going on. I’m finding it hard to get into it

I guess I’m committed to finishing this box since I’m at 81% but Cassia is one of the most annoying characters ever written.

I’m not sure I’m going to be able to finish this book. She is so annoying. The author really didn’t have to ride her this friggin annoying

Cassia is really annoying. I thought this book was really cute at first, but she is really getting on my nerves.

Why does she have to cry every page?

So why is this book not about Gwen and Steel? At this moment I could care less about Dara’s story.

I just can’t. I’m going to try to finish this book. I might end up having to skip to the end but two selfish alcoholic parents and she’s giving her life up for them and in turn giving Belmont’s life up for them. Talk about a bunch of codependent sick people all of them. I think Belmont deserves more than Sage and her family.

I really want to like this book but I just can’t. I’m going to finish it if it kills me but they’re just so fucking whiny. Maybe it’s because I’m listening to the audiobook and the narrator makes him so whiny and angsty but it’s just too much

So far this has been a bit to angsty for me.

Even if you thought it was a dream being so specific, having the man’s name and his occupation don’t tell me in this day and age with the Internet you wouldn’t Google him just to see if he actually existed

If Jillian doesn’t get her head out of her ass though it will go from a 5 to 4 star book or maybe 3 Johnny deserves better than her

So good but Jillian is a bit annoying with not wanting relationship or to be a mom. It’s starting to get annoying

I love this author, but for some reason I can’t get into this book I really don’t like Lucy

Getting a little annoyed with Sinead and Alanna and Kate and the whole Canadian commune. First off they’re not into blood magic so they wouldn’t have to kill Dhara. Obviously, there must be another way, secondly, there is a bunch of military people coming to kill the commune. What the F get the hell out of there Kate such an idiot even the little bit of hemming and hauling. It’s just ridiculous.
