i think i have read enough books and stories for most of them to be predictable. this one is no surprise at all, but the journey to the ending would be different, and that's what's most exciting.

leander's chapter is the best so far. he is indeed charming lol but it's a boyish kind of charm so it's a bit juvenile and not to be take seriously. but it's so refreshing to finally read someone happy lol

i honestly don't want to read it in laskia's pov in the first person ughhh

multiple pov is so boring in first person.

Osric is less boring but the story is still such a drag...and they don't have any chemistry or tension.

i don't really care about the characters. they're so boring. i also don't care about what aurienne is doing because i don't have a clue what she's doing. the world building is so bad. i'm lost what kind of world the story is set in - their tech, magic, political system. the story is so empty.

maybe i expected too much but the writing is disappointing lol

I'm halfway and I do not want this to be a romance. The 2 mc don't have chemistry at all. The characters are also just so bland. The world building is really good tho.

2 chapters dedicated to a snoozefest dialogue that doesn't really add anything to the plot or their characters personalities.
