Just started. What a page turner!

A good start. More chuckles than a clown’s whoopee cushion - with a few good hooks.

Speeding up now. More twists than Venice alleyways.

Started this book an hour ago. Fantastic hooks in it. Fast paced. It reminds me a bit of Lost, only no gigantic polar bear thing yet! I guess that’s a good thing. Im loving this!

Slow-paced with the feel of a black-and-white movie mixed with 1970s film-making. It’s amazing to learn the author wrote this in twenty-four days. It’s so well done. And it was written very soon after World War Two ended in Germany. The author died in 1947!

This book caught my attention on the first page. So far, the rest is looking great!

Some interesting points but why does it remind me of Clive Cussler?

Loving the dry humour. First chapter down.

Funny moments. This is a different style to what the author used in McAlisters Way. Reminds me of the lovechild of Monty Python and Douglas Adams. Hmmm is that possible? These days, one can never tell.

I started this book this morning. The great thing about having the flu is I can read more. So far, this book is proving itself a good read.

Shaping up towards an exciting climax. Loving the story.

Just past halfway. This is quite an adventure tale. A few oopsies but they’re minor and forgivable in such a great yarn.

Gritty and dark and alluring.

There are some exotic sex scenes. Those into BDSM villas would find them interesting, I imagine. But it’s not gratuitous, which I find refreshing after some other books’ attempts.

The sex (so far) is mere story elements that add to the atmosphere and carry the story. It’s not gratuitous.
