I will have to abandon this book. It's too disturbing. The problem is that it's well written and the characters immediately come to life when you're pulled into an extremely unpleasant and tense situation with a pair of characters who you feel sympathy for, but fear what they will do to each other.
Then the nerve racking problem of what will happen to Rose's vulnerable little baby. Too tense and unpleasant for me!
