First time with this book, and it’s shocking how current it feels for something written in 1934. I read almost half in one sitting!

What. The. Fuck?!

Finally. There was a point where I was like fuck Poppy and her appeal that seems like a fraud, give me the real drama and the dead person. And I’m like omg now.

This is getting darker and darker by the minute and I’m getting disgusted by almost everyone and everything.

This just got much better. Now we’re talking. There are so many issues surrounding Poppy’s appeal and I’m creating a thousand theories. I just want the book club meeting to end so I can continue reading.

This book’s been quite a ride so far, and I’m only on page 80. At first I almost gave up because it throws so many characters at you, kind of like Agatha Christie, and I was totally lost. But things really started to make sense after about 35 pages.

Ok, I gotta give it to Jewell — this one’s got me way more hooked than Then She Was Gone. I’m like 13 chapters in, around 100 pages, and I have zero clue what’s going on… but honestly, that’s what makes it better.

This book has been on my tbr for so long and I'm really excited to finally start it! Please don't disappoint me

Yes, I started reading this book today and have already read three parts. I’m enjoying it a lot. I have one thought though—I feel like there are a few parts that could be shorter.

I won't say anything until I finish reading the entire book.

Oh, Sevro and Victra? Really? I’ll play along and pretend I didn’t see this coming. Very glad it happened though!

This third part had everything we could ever want: epic battles, victory roars, weakened enemies, the love story between Darrow and Mustang, and the heartbreaking deaths of our former friends.
What more could I possibly ask for?
Just excellent!

Dude this book is sick!
Goddard’s a dick. Curie’s the kindest. Citra’s so smart. Rowan’s so brave. I love them all.

I’m not sure I like Goddard. Like yes, he’s funny but he’s also a dick. A complete one if you’re asking.

Oh my God, wow! I started this book tonight just to read one chapter and test the waters, but I ended up reading the entire first part! Loving it so far.

The end of part 2 was especially fascinating!
