This style of story telling is taking a bit to get used to but I admire it a lot. It makes me curious..

Very intrigued by the author's voice and tone.

I would have loved this when I was 13. It’s very “teen” writing. I’m going to finish it in honor of simply finishing a book but will probably donate this after. I give it 3 stars so far.

Mags and Wiress being the mentors for District 12 is perfect. Haunting that they were required to be tributes in Catching Fire.

the capitol is NASTY in this one - they always have been but the situation at the reaping, the tv crew’s insensitivity, drusilla’s evilness, even the fucking birthday cake like come on y’all READ THE ROOM.

Heart racing in my chest with the anticipation of Jude’s story. Can’t imagine the strength it takes to go on after such a stressful life. It is starting to get really dark and hard to feel happy after a reading sessiom of this.

I have felt very drawn to this book but felt...intimidated by not only its length but the heaviness of the story as well. I intend to take it slowly as I know I will get attached to this book and I will feel an intense type of way once I close it in the end. So far, JB is my least favorite of the 4. There is something so innocent about Jude...but it's still early. Still figuring out the annotation system.

Had a little time between finishing vol. 2 and starting this one but determined to finish. Kaneda + Kei stay making me chuckle, love them. Really want to see what the big hype around Akira is

Had to reread Akira because I had ordered the volume 2 but it came in Japanese! I didn’t follow up with the series but now I rented the rest of the books from my local library. :)

My god....I can *feel* Hermione's emotions. The way the storytelling is set up is brilliant (present, past, future). My heart pains for Draco, it's horrible what he has to endure. Disappointed with the Order and their way of things although I ponder often if they would be so naive...

TikTok put me on. I have always shipped Hermione and Draco, reading fanfic when I was younger to fuel my fantasy of them. I am ready to have my heart broken by this book.

Not the biggest fan of the repetitiveness in the beginning. A lot of Hermione not knowing what to do and being stuck. But I guess that adds to the feeling of despair.

Humorous and eye opening at the same time.

I am continuously shocked. Just finished part 2 and the audacity of this fucking government.

So frickin excited for the movie! The ending of both chapter 7 and 8 had me with my eyes and mouth wide open.
