Some of the author has chosen to include in this book are truly HEINOUS and very much not okay but if you can look through that… it does kind of read like crack. HOWEVER. I do have a very strong opinion about said heinous things (especially because they’re not properly covered within the trigger warnings) which will strongly affect the rating.

This reads like a stereotypical good cop bad cop interrogation scene except there are no questions, just birds, smut, war history and a boatload trauma and dubious consent.

Very unhinged buddy read with the bookclub girls so I’m not allowed to binge read as usual. You can probably expect some random ass, cryptic updates over the coming week!
