Nope - can't take anymore from the audiobook.
I'll see if I can read the rest of it on my Kindle so it doesn't end up as a dnf.
I don't like any of the characters, except fluffy or puffy or whatever the little dog-owl-monkey is called.

I have 3.5 hrs left in this book, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it. It's too predictable, and when I know what will happen, it's no longer entertaining or 'fun' to continue. It just becomes a chore. Does that make sense to anyone but me..?

Why someone would take verbal barbs from their parents without biting back will forever be a mystery to me.

This book is a struggle. I fall asleep every time I open it, and I've started skimming because it is really boring...

Oh no, the story lost my interest.
I guess I'll put it on hold for a while... Hopefully, I'll be able to pick it up again later, when I've forgotten what it's about.
Also - trying not to see it as a bleak copy of Fourth Wing.
Trying is the key word.

I think I know what will happen, and if it does, there will be disappointment...

Killi is working with the siphons.
He will manipulate Mer to kill his father.
The broody one (Stark? I don't remember) is the good one.
I also suspect Killi wants Mers' necklace and that's why he sought her out in the first place.

Please let there be an unexpected twist 🙏🏻

Oh nooo... I was a bit scared going into this after I dnf'ed acoc.
It's not off to a good start.
It's like Breene has become so focused on writing spice that she no longer cares about the actual storyline.
Disappointing.

Obsidian will be available on Tuesday, so I'll have to re-listen to this series first.
