Oh nooo... I was a bit scared going into this after I dnf'ed acoc.
It's not off to a good start.
It's like Breene has become so focused on writing spice that she no longer cares about the actual storyline.
Disappointing.

Maybe I'll try Sin and Chocolate instead, or first, anyway.
@Misha Sin & Chocolate is still good! I thought I would reread the entire series, but after book 3, I decided to just take the leap and dive in. Now it's on pause - indefinitely... I was really looking forward to this, so the disappointment is on me. High expectations and all that.
Bummer. :( I have loved Breene's writing in the past but haven't read one in a while. Looking forward to it!
