Loving this so far but I needed a trigger warning about the cat

Well damn, I see this book is already coming for my feelings

I started listening to this two days ago and have struggled to do anything else. Some parts are a bit predictable but it is so good!

OK this is pretty addictive and a fun read

I just needed something lighter to read and cleanse my palate and I love this author's books. So far, so good.

This is such a difficult and heartbreaking read.

Ughhhhh, men really just don't get it do they? Although I do like that they're addressing the issues a "career woman" can have with becoming a foster mom, I find these white parents insufferable so far.

Oof at the foster mom wanting a tween who has experienced big trauma to open up to her after less than a month as well as the comparison of being "weird with glasses" to being the only Asian person in a small white town.

" He'd walk in, give a completely normal greeting to everyone but when he was talking to minority students, he'd be like, 'Yo, yo, yo! You got your assignment?' "
The way I just screamed and collapsed into giggles.

HR is trash but we knew that already

Book club is in a week so I guess I better get cracking on this one. It's fascinating so far.

This book is so depressing

I started this in October 2020, intended to finish in in 2020 but, as the author points out, I didn't make it easy for me to pick up so I listened to podcasts and played video games instead.
