This was a very enjoyable read. Very well written.
Actual historical facts and family legend may have very little in common and I think the author does a good job in highlighting this. I was not thrilled with the whole idea of giving a child a name of a past relative with all the implications the author makes, but that is a personal thing.

This is not a topical memoir because it focuses more on Jungs beliefs and inner life and much less on the facts of his life. They are no missing but come second to his internal world. It is a look back into defining moments of his past and how these tie in with his work. Worth it for the honesty and willingness to explore past dreams, thoughts and experiences but not an easy read.

Loved the premise of the book.

Îmi place mult stilul lui Marius, mai ales pentru ca prezintă ce e frumos, dar și ce e greu într-o astfel de călătorie. Cartea îmi menține atenția și îmi creează o imagine a locurilor fără a se pierde în detalii și descrieri. Fotografiile sunt superbe.

A collection of interesting ideas from interviews. A bit too chaotic.

Interesting but confusing. I kept asking myself what is he talking about... What's the main storyline? The tribe, the race, his story, endurance running in general, all of it?
