Beautiful as always. The excessive alliteration is distracting but the thoughts are lovely

One of the most beautifully written books I’ve read in a long time. It hits waaay too close to home.

This is, by far, one of the funniest books I have ever read, perhaps because I am a Sinclair fan, but also given the current political climate that has left us little choice but to fully embrace absurdism. I adore this book!

I haven’t read this book since high school, and it’s far more terrifying than I could ever have anticipated then. It’s a book for our current age, and as a teacher I feel its warnings so acutely

Katrina Harms is on page 30 of God, Human, Animal, Machine: Technology, Metaphor, and the Search for Meaning
It was a fascinating read for awhile, but quickly elapsed into a need to connect transhumanism a la Kurzweil into evangelical revelation theology, despite proclaiming she was no longer Christian. I was hoping for more of an informed discussion of technology as it relates to our other understandings vs a confessional/memoir on unresolved religious conditioning.

This book is incredible so far. The author (personally) makes many assumptions and connections that I do not necessarily conceive as true (“we use language traditionally used for describing computers to describe our own neural processes because we see ourselves as computers”). It seems to me we use neural language to describe computer processes, my 2 cents. Extremely well written, will likely finish.
