Заинтриговалась статьей в NYT и вот я уже на середине.

I have a good feeling about this.

Reading it again weeks after finishing because it's sooo good and also because I'm doing a book club on it.

I don't want to jinx it but this book might just be my new favourite thing ever.

Years ago I had this app with hundreds of radio stations from around the world and it also had a radio channel with the audio books of Harry potter series played non-stop (in russian). I used to listen to them for hours pretty much every day as I was very depressed and constantly needed a comforting distraction. It came to a point where I knew them almost by heart

Re-reading now in English for the first time

Oh my goodness this book is something else, it's so weird, love it

I'm planning to read "1984. Julia", and I'm pretty excited about it. But I want to do it right, so I'm reading the original again, since I barely remember it at this point

Reading again for a book club
(Also because this book is so damn good, i wish i could memorise every word in it)

I'm at this stage of my professional career where I'm asked to read books for work. And I'm not complaining

Don't mind me, I just found out about this pretty unique russian translation of LOTR and I'm using it as an excuse to read it again.

Half way through and I can't recall the last time I was so mad at a book. I don't even remember why I so naively thought I would enjoy this. I was expecting a heroic epic about love and honor, well, now I just can't wait for the so called "heroes" to die.

As good as the first time

Quite heartbroken by the news of the passing of Lama Zopa. All my thoughts are with the FPMT community.

I've had my eyes on this book for a long time, no time like the present to finally dig into it...

May we learn to better appreciate our teachers.
