So boring that it’s somewhat entertaining. I mean this is not giving me college vibe, high school sounds better because everyone is SO immature. The FMC is the typical “oh-I’m-such-a-naive-and-innocent-virgin” girlie and she’s supposedly be griefing over her mom but there’s ZERO depth in her grief. Her mom is a prop that gets brought up when needed. Right now this is getting a 1.5 star but let’s see

Pre read: I got this because I thought giving Stephanie Garber one more try since this is supposed to be her ADULT FANTASY. I didn’t like her other two popular series because I really couldn’t tolerate young, naive, and well-sheltered 14-year-old girls who’re trapped inside twenty-something bodies. I find them SO annoying.

DNF for sure. What is this. Honestly, what is this? It’s so bad and I just can’t bring myself to read one more page! The FMC is so dumb and so naive and so childish. She does not feel like a 26-year-old grown-ass woman to me, I was more mature than her when I was 14. And jeez, girl, please stop doing very obviously dumb sh*t and dripping wet over some cookie-cutter “mysterious, dark man” ughhh!

Picked this up at my local library, let’s see if this is really that bad! Hehe I’m a masochist.

Ughhh… really struggling to finish the book here. I hate Freya’s family and her loyalty to them SO MUCH! And it pains me knowing that they’ll keep coming back to the story and I have to endure more of them.
